Hannah Carina Stark

I am a mom, a public school teacher, and a writer living in Brooklyn, NY. I like to ride trains and drive open roads. Sometimes I play street hockey. Sometimes I make art. Most of the time I'm just observing the world around me. I'm happy to meet you here.

 

I've been around children's books for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my mom, Marisabina Russo, paint in her studio. She's an author and illustrator too. I learned a lot about children's books by watching her work. I've also learned most of what I know through teaching kids writing in my classroom and reading children's books to my sons and students nearly every day.  

 

My inspiration for TRUCKER AND TRAIN came to me while playing trucks and trains on the floor with my son. I hope it inspires readers to use their gifts for good. Feel free to reach out to me via the contact page any time.
